St. Theresa's was the first mission established in 1931. It began with a primary school and a clinic. It has now developed to a secondary high school with 550 students, 55 of whom are boarders.
All students take courses
english, bible study, math, science and sesotho. In addition to preparing students to take the Cambridge examinations, Holy Names High School offers several
programs for their students:
1) an agricultural program: crops and animal husbandry
2) needlework,clothing and textiles
3) woodworking: creating furniture, small tables, chairs and picture frames
Today four sisters and twenty-one lay teachers work at the school.
