Two sisters and 3 lay women staff this health centre. Last year they saw 3,743 patients, 61 first time prenatal visits and saw 444 children as part of the "under five" program. Also, there are 30 Community Health Workers who volunteer and visit people in the villages.

Maryland Health Centre provides primary health care, but isn't able to reach their target group, the people in the surrounding villages, as the clinic does not have a vehicle and driver. It becomes difficult to visit the villages and supervise the Community Health Workers. A great joy of this ministry is seeing this as a noble profession where God is glorified through the work of healing people.
