of the Holy Names Computer College

In 2000 the Sisters of the Holy Names opened a computer
college in Peka. The aim is to produce men and women skilled in information
management and computer for the nation. Due to he high cost of education
and the poverty level in the country the college will be subsidized to
enable people from poor families to build a future for themselves.
It is an official training centre of ICDL (International Computer Driving
Licence ). It offers certification and a diploma in Information technology.
Currently there are 102 students attending the computer college. Students
learn basic concepts of information technology, computer management, word
processing, spreadsheets, database, presentation tools, and internet skills.
