We
are the first teaching congregation of Canadian origin. We came into
being in 1843 at Longueuil, Quebec.
Inspired by the zeal of our foundress, Marie-Rose Durocher, and in collaboration
with many partners, we seek to respond to the challenges of our day
through diversity in our ministries.
Living in community or in apostolic networks supports our commitment,
focuses our energy and gives greater strength to our action.
Our tradition as educators has always valued creativity and the expression
of beauty through art.
