Vowed Religious
An invitation to women who want to deepen their commitment to God through
community, spirituality and mission as a Sister of the Holy Names. Apostolic
in nature, our Congregation gives priority to the full development of
the human person, to solidarity in the promotion of justice and to contemplation
in action.

To make inquiries

Contact the Vocation Director for further information and vocational
direction;

Become acquainted with SNJM communities and ministries;
- Create
relationships with a companion sister and welcoming community.
Candidacy
Take the first formal step by living for a period, usually one year, in
an SNJM community |

Noviciate
Spend a two-year integration into religious life;
- the
first year focuses
on deepening a life of prayer, reflection, and
learning the way of vowed life in the SNJM tradition;
- The
second year provides an experience of mission, community life and an
opportunity to serve with poor people.

Temporary
Vows
-
Live vowed commitment for a period of three to six years;
- Continue
to be involved in SNJM mission flowing from the values of vowed poverty,
chastity and obedience.
Permanent
Vows
Choose
to make the vows of poverty, chastity and obedience for a lifetime within
the SNJM congregation.

on Religious Life and on the Vows undertaken in the Congregation since 2003.
