Commitment as a Consecrated Lay Person

An invitation to celibate women and men, widows or widowers, who wish to consecrate their celibacy to God, finding their inspiration in the charism and spirituality of our Congregation, all the while living in their own milieux.

Preparation

  • Spend a period of formation, of accompaniment and of discernment;
  • Arrange one’s program of life in agreement with the sister who is the sponsor.

Commitment

  • Be inspired by Gospel values;
  • Consecrate oneself to God by voluntary chastity;
  • Develop a life of union with God;
  • Live in one’s own milieu.

Forms of Commitment

The commitment is made by promise or by private vow for a period of time determined with the Congregation.
